A Selection of Very Special Villas in Aquitaine

Houses for Occasions

This portfolio of houses, which my wife and I own, has been created for special occasions - and big occasions. Special Villas offers a unique range of large properties, 9 in all, from 5 bedrooms (sleeping 10) to 24 bedrooms, (sleeping 48) and we make birthdays, anniversaries, weddings and groups a natural speciality, on top of family holidays.

Special Houses and Entertainment

We have restored all these houses to very high practical standards. We avoid luxury and have gone for highly equipped and rustic character. En-suite bedrooms (1 exception from 43 bedrooms). Fully equipped kitchens. Large cinemas. Satellite programmes. Hi-fi. Snooker (5 out of 9 properties). Wi-fi throughout. Grand pianos (7 out of 9).

Exceptional Sporting Facilities

Naturally, all properties have a private swimming pool - the larger ones have 2 or 3 - table tennis, and use of a tennis court. Five of the properties have, in addition, croquet, boules and use of our (developing) 9-hole golf course.

Many Optional Extras

We pride ourselves on being able to offer what you want. Our Options List includes multi-menu catering with our own chef, maid service, baby-sitting, VW minibus rental (9-seater), air/rail transfers, wine-list, use of Steinway. We can also offer organised tours of wine chateaux, with access to some of the best such as Haut Brion. We have our own 4-seater Canadian canoes and bikes for hire.
