The region itself is ideal for bicyclists, walkers, hikers and wine and culture enthusiasts. Add to this private swimming pools for each house, tennis, table tennis, snooker, and for our Gensac houses a 9-hole challenge golf pitch, croquet, boules and a football field.

We pride ourselves on being able to help you create the experience you want. Our Options List includes catering, housekeeping, baby-sitting, VW self-drive minibus rental (9-seaters ), including airport delivery thus avoiding the rental queues, air/rail transfers, special wine-list, and concert-class pianos and musicians. In-house wine tastings and access to local châteaux are also possible.

The houses are perfectly situated for those who wish to explore. The wonderful and famous wine village of Saint-Emilion is 30 minutes away. The beautiful valley of the Dordogne lies to the east, beyond explorable Bergerac. The Atlantic Ocean at Arcachon is stunning. Bordeaux is a beautiful historic city. The Médoc - the greatest wine territory in the world - is 90 minutes away. Lac de la Cadie, with its sandy beach is 5-20 minutes away. The Château of the famous philosopher Montaigne is 10-20 minutes. So much to do - if you wish!

For those seeking a more quiet, contemplative break, The Plum Village Buddhist meditation centre is within driving distance. Local spas, pilates and yoga are also available.
