With 16 en-suite bedrooms, sleeping 32, it provides an ideal venue for large groups. A professional standard kitchen (and chef if needed) allows catering for all guests eating together in a large convivial dining room. The enormous music salon is ideal for celebrations and meetings. Additional management and support services are available to enable clients to create a magical experience. Les Chais is notable for having three exceptional pianos, including a Steinway D, available for a fee to qualified musicians, two securitised swimming pools, a tennis court and a wide range of sporting facilities. Walking distance to local village, Gensac, with bars, restaurants, and 25 minutes by car from the beautiful and historic wine town of Saint-Emilion. Riding, golf, canoeing, fishing are all nearby.
The Setting
The Chais have about five acres of land, including a walled garden, offering peace and privacy. The large terrace is perfect for everyone to eat together. They are on the fringe of a quiet hamlet, but close to the village of Gensac. Guests have a wide range of sporting options including tennis, croquet, boules, badminton, football and a challenging 9-hole short golf course. There are vineyards around, a lot of nature and interesting walks and bike rides.
Accommodation
The Chais provide a spacious environment for 32 guests, with 440m² of socialising space - including a 200m² magnificent beamed salon (home of the Steinway D and Pleyel Duoclave double piano) and a stunning cinema system. The kitchen facilities are to professional standards. The dining room can accommodate up to 40 guests. There are additional WCs on the ground floor.
Sleeping Accommodation
All 16 bedrooms are located on the ground floors of each house and are en-suite with a bathroom or shower room. Eight of them open directly out onto a large terrace. Each bedroom (8 double and 8 twin) has a fully equipped modern en-suite bath or shower room. All rooms are tastefully decorated with modern and antique furniture, and are designed for comfortable holiday living. All linen and towels are provided. House cleaning and linen change are available upon request and for a fee.
